Last few days in Madrid

¡Hola!

Sunshine and summertime is what it feels like here...still wonderfully warm weather! Sunscreen needs to be put on for sure all the time! Only a few more days to enjoy this wonderful weather as I'm headed "up north" again to Salzburg, Austria where the weather will be a bit cooler.

Madrid has been very nice, everything is withing walking distance. Music class has been a blast! Songs and dance has filled our classes, and we even got to spend time with Spanish students at the University of Madrid which was a TON of fun!

Flamenco workshop tomorrow afternoon, then a performance to go to on Friday night.

Tonight we're on the look out for Paella to eat for dinner (you just have to have it when in Spain! - it's a rice based dish with veggies and your choice or meat or seafood). Yum.

Off to Nice, France on Sunday for our mini spring break, hope the wonderful weather follows me there!

Oh, and on another note, I received word that I got the RA position back at school. Next year I will be a Resident Assistant in one of the dorms. I'm so excited! How awesome to find out when in Barcelona that I got the job. Yay! I had a phone interview when I was in Paris and found out about a week and a half later. Can't wait.

I am also in the process of planning my last two weeks when I have independent travel time. I hope to make it up to Lithuania to meet Arturas. Then head up to Scotland to stay with my Sorority Big Sister Katie (who is studying there!) for a week (we are going to travel for a long weekend..place TBD) before I go back to London to catch my return flight home on May 1. It seems so far off in the distance, but the days pass by with ease here...can't believe it, and I'll need to know my plans before I know it.

Hope some of the warmth can travel across the Atlantic to reach home!
