Snowday continues...

Well our play tonight, Midsummer Night's Dream, got canceled due to the snow! Bummer!!!! But I am going to enjoy an evening in and get some homework done (yes I do have homework on this trip!). It's crazy to see people who have never seen snow before go crazy. We literally had a guy throw snowballs at us (okay it was only 2 snowballs, but it was still hilarious) because they just go crazy! A shop owner was shoveling the 'pavement' (that's their sidewalk here) and had someone take a picture of him shoveling. People don't own shovels here, nor are there plows or anything winter related. The parks were closed (they're all gated), but people jumped the fence to take pictures. So much chaos!

It was really pretty though today, the snow was very wet and stuck to all the trees! It made for a great winter walk. We ate at this small little place called Marchmont Sandwich Bar and I had a pineapple and mozzarella panini sandwich. Sounds like a interesting combo, but it wasn't half bad, kinda like a pizza....

We're going to possibly try and find the laundromat tomorrow, it's just around the corner somewhere. The washers here are too expensive, and a bunch of us are going in on a bottle of detergent. Since I don't have class tomorrow, that's about the most exciting thing happening during the day! :) Then tomorrow night (hopefully the show will go on) Mama Mia is calling our name! Our show is at 7:30pm in the Theatre district. We were going to take the tube there, but will probably walk there due to the snow shutting them down, no biggie, it's not too far a walk, maybe 20 minutes.

Thanks for all the emails people have been sending me, when I do get the chance to check them, it's wonderful getting them! Headed to Edinburgh on Sunday already...an 8 hour bus ride awaits. Write more later...
